In fairness, what you offered were links, which most people most of the time can find using Google. What people most need here is experiences and anecdotes, and perhaps specific recommendations, supported with links only 20%+/- of the time.

I have found this place to be helpful and funny, I think you need a thickish skin sometimes if you are a Christian or lean politically to the Right (judging by some of the threads I have read) though I "came out" as a Christian a few days ago and people have been respectful. I think if you stuck around you will see this community as a weird but friendly bunch of people
