Most likely because the Visa process is so complictated and bogged down in minor irrelevent detail, none of the USCIS Officials understand it either! Plus, these American government types are not renowned for their initiative or ability to think past what their supervisor tells them!!

You're probably right. :D But, I find that to be true for most "government types" lol :D

I'm getting provisional greencard and been told I've got two years to either prove i've had my tentanus and mmr.....
so sometime here I'll get a blood test because i've had my booster, when on holiday, so didn't have records, and my mmr, got the individual boosters at school, so my doctor didn't have the records, which is a pain...
