Using mobiles locked to U.K. networks

We've been here a week.

I have an unlocked iPhone, purchased directly through Apple. I have replaced my U.K. SIM with a SIM only plan with T mobile. Without an SSN I bought a single month of unlimited everything.

Now, my daughter and my son have mobiles locked to O2 and Vodaphone respectively.

Mr Jazz has decided against a personal mobile, he'll keep with his work phone.

T mobile offered me a family plan for $129 a month. We've decided not to bother installing landline - we never used ours in the uk.

So my questions are
1. How easy is it to get my kids phones unlocked?

2. Is this a reasonable plan with T mobile?

Thank you all for your help

:-)

Shouldn't be difficult at all to unlock the phones provided you meet the conditions

https://support.vodafone.co.uk/Using...er-network.htm

$129 seems about right for t-mobile and 3 phones.

I love T-Mobile -- such a refreshing change after years of AT&T. Their prices and polices really are far more reasonable. Having been with them for 3-4 years I've had a bunch of great freebies. My 1GB data allowance was upgraded to 2GB and then 6GB. They gave me an additional line for free. An iPhone 7 upgrade for free (had to pay the sales tax tho') and more.

In any event, I suggest you wait 24 hours. T-Mobile have scheduled a big announcement tomorrow:

If you have comcast cable, voice and text is free up to 5 handsets. Data is $12 a month shared between all lines or $45 for unlimited. Phones start from $1 or 4c per month for 24 months.

Our broadband is with Xfinity which, I believe, is comcast. This seems to be a really good deal and better than what T mobile were offering me.
