USA ISLANDS...

Are there any islands (besides Hawaii) that come under the USA? Heading over on the K1 and wondered if there were any loopholes to get to a beautiful island after we wed that wouldn't need a parole visa.

Puerto Rico. Not sure about the US territories in the Caribbean as I haven't visited any by air only by sea.

Would the US government allow us to go to the US virgin islands and not see it as abandoning a visa?

The FAQ for the US Virgin Islands says that if you are not a US citizen then you need a passport. I am not sure if you could could "fly under the radar" with a US drivers license and nobody notice that you're not a USC, but I would not recommend it under your circumstances.

How about the rustic islands off the eastern US southern coast where residents speak Gullah? It's a slave language rooted in Africa.

Gullah Net > What is Gullah

It's not your typical honeymoon spot, but it would be something different.

How about North Dakota or suchlike? That'll probably feel more remote than the average island.

We'll live in Philadelphia. We felt everything we had gone through to get to this stage we need to treat ourselves.

Manhattan is one of my most hated placed. Far too crowded with people who do not move their shoulders when walking past.

Key west it is.
