I have to say that this thread has been really entertaining. I have frequented other threads out there and i gotta say this is by far the friendliest i have ever visited especially when compared to the old mans volvo site (yes i had a volvo)

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone past and present for the advice that is contained on this site.

Hmm. I drive the one remaining Volvo in the family fleet. Spouse in the Beemer, mi hija in a Subaru y otra hija in a Mini. It used to be all Volvos, none of which were manufactured by Ford.

It was a good motor until a rod went in the engine. My bad though

Could not agree more this is a very easy going forum, I had never been to the "take it outside" section until the other day and i found that more amusing than harsh. As per the Volvo forums places like Disco-web (Land Rover Discovery) are not for the faint hearted.

I must say I thoroughly enjoyed reading all the outrage in this thread....I've been on forums where people were flayed alive on a daily basis....one of my fondest memories is where I was ripped apart for marrying my husband and not telling them. ROFL
This is a walk in the park compared to MANY online forums...
