USA football ranking
Since Ireland managed somehow not to get into the World Cup I have not been following the run-up too closely until now when I see the USA football team are ranked fourth best in the world by FIFA... . How did this happen !?, are they really that good ?
Also I see Rooney is out of the world cup. Hard luck England..

Just the criteria FIFA uses to rank, it's skewed to take into account playing against easier opponents but it's not skewed enough.

FIFA take into account games from the last 8 years, so getting into the quarter finals of the world cup last time around plays a part in it too.

Where I feel the 4th place rating is way too high, they do have Landon Donovan who is a bit special. He has that extra bit of magic that can turn a game. I can't wait for the world cup to start.
I was quite confident last week that England could win it, but without a fully fit Rooney I can't see that happeing now. Oh well.

I call Crouch to prove us all wrong and finish top scorer in tourney... eh? If USA beat Italy i hit a very nice payday so i'm not saying anything bad against them right now.

Since it's the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking
Maybe England would be 4th if it was the FIFA/Cadbury Schweppes World Ranking.

No...just a bunch of boy-toys running up and down the field in showing off their asses in short shorts and knee socks...showing their tits when they score a goal.
Is it the men's asses, legs or tits that the British males like to watch so fervently? :scared:
