US tourists going to Mexico
Guys - quick question to anyone that knows - I live in SoCal, my parents, both BC's, are visiting this month. They'll be here on the standard visa waiver program. I'm thinking about planning a trip to southern Mexico - anyone know if there are any issues with them leaving the US for Mexico on their Brit passports etc.?
No extra visa's or anything like that required? thanks, Matt |

Foreign & Commonwealth page on Mexico.
No visa required, a tourist card will need to be completed at the border. |
Re: US tourists going to Mexico
ok cool - thanks. Actually thinking of a cruise, so i'm sure they'll have the relevant stuff on the boat.
cheers, Matt |
Re: US tourists going to Mexico
The time in Mexico counts against their 90 day US admission though. (IE they still need to depart for home inside the original 90 days).
edit: and it will cost $6 US each for the I-94W at the land border. |
Re: US tourists going to Mexico
ok, we're good on that front, they're only here for 6 weeks - but thanks for the note, worth bearing in mind for the future.
