US SS- UK Pension

Does anyone know if drawing USA social security will have any impact on my UK gov pension when I reach 65. My US wife has the required 40 credits and is drawing her US SS. Although I don't qualify for for US SS because of insufficient credits I am able to qualify as her spouse and now at the age of 62 can apply.

Grateful of any comments.

Re: US SS- UK Pension

It will not effect your UK pension, however the UK pension might effect your social security. Search Windfall Elimination Tax. I think if your wife has the full 40 credits you will be OK, but you need to research this for yourself.
