US Passport Renewal Time
Anyone renewed a US passport recently in the US? How long did it take? I've just submitted an application for my 15 year old daughter and was told it would take 6-8 weeks. My experience has been that it always takes less time than they say.

All recent (last 12 months) reports have been under two weeks, often well under two weeks. Mine was a year ago, done in the UK, and took only eight days - mailed on a Tuesday, received back Wednesdays the following week.

I did my renewal a couple of months ago, and took about 2 weeks.

Did mine last year ..... took three weeks.
