I'd get the big passport, 28 pages, what that? 14 spreads? That's less than 11/2 of those big visa stamps per year. (Lots of Asia is a page for visa and at least another for in and out stamps) Although US passports used to allow extra pages to be added. Dont know if they still do that.

I would suggest not doing that but writing something like "(place of birth),UK".

Thank you guys!

If anyone else has an idea/suggestion whether 28 or 52 pager is better, lets share your thoughts! Thanks again

Only you know if you need extra pages for visas and stamps. I have only ever had one visa in my life, and had about ten stamps (entering the US) on my British passport. My US passport has two entry stamps. I can't imagine traveling enough to use even half the pages in my standard US passport.

I'm not sure why you keep asking us a question it is impossible for us to answer! Only you know how much you are going to travel.

FWIW I travelled extensively worldwide for many years and never needed a large passport.

Exactly, it all depends on the countries you visit and how often. When I got my first US passport I got the 28 page version but filled it up and to send it in to have more pages added.

When I renewed it I again only got the 28 page version and after 8 years it has hardly any stamps and no visas in it. (When I travel to and within Europe I use my British passport)

If you don't know which to get, then it's very unlikely you need the big one.

There you go, case solved.

I appreciate all your responses. Finally, I went for the standard 28 page. I justify it by also having my UK passport which I am planning to use more frequently.

But still not sure if I made the right decision why do they even give us this choice?

Oh boy, if you agonize so much over a trifling thing like this, I daren't think what you do when confronted with a really important decision!

Because some of us travel a lot, FFS.

so they could be giving out 50pages as a standard, or is just because the paper is so expensive?

I have 8 stamps across the 2 centre pages of my passport. I can't ever see a need for the 50+ page booklet, total overkill.
