Ah well its been a while. I guess situations change, but maybe now they'll change back again? Who knows how the great military minds work.

But there was criticism that it sent out the wrong signals at a time when the emphasis was on "business as usual" in London after the attacks.

No shit.

Not really the correct thread but someone has now been arrested.

They think the bomber died in the bus bomb, I think this happened to an IRA member a while ago too.

Just goes to show the true mentality of the US authorities, did they stop troops from going to London during WW2 ?

OMG....

All four suspects are believed to be British born and are believed to be dead. Three could have been suicide bombers, the other [on the bus] may not have been.

I'm glad they're onto suspects so quickly, but very sad if it turns out the perpetrators are based in Leeds. I lived there for over 30 years and always thought the various ethnic communities lived together so well.
I hope this will not change things there.

Interesting that the arson attack on the mosque was also in Leeds. Do you think it has any relevance?

The Police and authorities have placed great emphasis on the fact that the communities to which these suspects belong should not be victimised in any way.
The fact that these individuals are murderers and terrorists regardless of background culture has been strongly communicated by all the media through the Police, who have and continue to do an outstanding job.
It would appear that documents at the scenes of some of the bombings link these individuals,as well as CCTV footage of them at King's Cross at 8.30 am on the morning of the bombings.
A clearer picture is now beginning to emerge.
