US Driver's License back in Blighty?

My UK license has expired and I'm heading back in May for a visit. Can I rent a car with my US Driver's License?

Yup - no problem at all. If you don't have insurance coverage with a credit card, you might want to consider arranging CDW before you go (e.g. $9 / day with Travelguard) as it can be a lot cheaper than buying it from the rental place...

Technically, if you're not living in the UK your UK license isn't valid, so there could be problems if you did try to use that instead of your US one.
