If you only use it when you go back to the UK then I doubt they are even aware you left the country!

I use mine in USA so it will be fairly obvious to them that I am always in the US and not at the address to which the card is registered (my parents' address).

Same here - I generally save the UK CC for use UK side, however, I'd have no worries about using it in the US if needs be - the bank won't care.

The biggest problem is usually when you have an obviously British accent and are trying to pay with a foreign card. They can't comprehend that a British person might actually live overseas.
(Also a nightmare when your flight home gets cancelled and they are telling you to 'go home' for the night and come back for tomorrow's flight).
