Urgent Flight Help

I finally have word today that my daughter can fly out and be here for Xmas this year. Woohoo!!!

So now, I'm hunting for the cheapest flights I can find.

She'll be flying with my mother so there'll be two passengers and my daughter is 10.

I'm hoping for her to fly out on either the 17th, 18th, 19th or 20th of Dec. And then fly back on 2nd, 3rd or 4th of Jan.

Savannah, Georgia is our closest airport although I can drive to Atlanta (3 hours) to pick them up if the prices are way cheaper.

There used to be an excellent site I used to go to where I could pick and choose airlines, times and build up a cheap flight. But I can't remember the bloody site and I can't find it. Grrrrr.

Any ideas of where to look?

Have a search through Honeymummy's (sp?) old posts. She had a really good site when she moved back to the UK.

I used to fly into Savannah a lot when my parents had a place on Hilton Head. I always found it cheapest to go LHR-IAD then a commuter to Savannah.

Here are a couple of price comparison sites; they show the best available fares with the links to the airlines or travel agencies or consolidators promoting those fares. One is the US site and one is the UK counterpart:

http://www.cheapflights.com

http://www.cheapflights.co.uk

There is also a consolidator based in NYC which apparently specialises in fares to the UK and Ireland...they have a freephone no. so you might want to phone (or e-mail) them to see if they can arrange flights from the UK. I've never used them though:

http://www.ukair.com

Of course...the cheapest day of all to travel is Christmas Day....!!!!!

Woohoo!!!

My daughter is flying over for Xmas!!!

:D

I finally got the flights through the Airline Network and it came to 826.00 (pounds) for my mother and my daughter (that's all together and not each).

If you find any cheaper flights now that I've booked these, don't tell me as I'll cry

Man, I can't wait.
