Default Uncle Philly

This old dude is my Son-in-law's great uncle. It boggles the mind that he started ushering when I was only one year old and he is still going and still spry, more spry than me anyway.

Wow, that's amazing. A woman retired from my employer recently more than 60 years after she first joined the company, though she did take a few years out when she had children.

Old people seem much more spry in the US than here. I wonder why ?

I think it is only an impression, you see the exceptions featured the news because they stand out. Uncle Philly is far from typical. Having said that, a neighbour in his upper nineties died here in the old folks home this week, I saw him playing billiards, as he often did, late last week. There are some spry people here in the retirement community, come to think of it.

That's is so wonderful to see. Not only that he can still do his job at his age but that his employer allows him to continue to work.
