UK VPN

I know this has probably been asked before but I am looking for a viable UK VPN that allows full speed spreaming over IPlayer. I have got a payed service from HideIPVPN.com but I get a LOT of buffering when streaming.

Any first hand experiances would be appreciated

Thanks

I have UKiVPN but I am limited by being on satellite broadband.

Seems to work fine when I watch elsewhere.

I've seen that recommended a few times myself....

I'd like to just find some crap freebie just to log into Spotify every couple of weeks rather than faff around with a proxy website. Annoying really, because now my account is set up, I can't change it to be based in Germany or France as I've found free low bandwidth VPN's for those countries.

Was using thefreevpn but that doesn't include UK servers for free anymore.

I use these guys. https://www.my-private-network.co.uk/

It buffers sometimes, but it buffers to people in the UK also. I find it buffers more when I'm on a wifi device instead of a hardwired machine.

I did watch a Dr. Who live once on the BBC stream and it only buffered once, which was pretty good.

But generally I prefer to download and playback later.

Also bare in mind that the BBC have recently increased the bitrate on BBC iPlayer so it MAY buffer more than it used to

Works a treat this does! Tested it with www.nbc.com that normally blocks me when I'm in the UK for most videos, and am using it right now without issue!

They put the UK servers back up on the freebie? They were down and only availble for paying folk for the longest time...

Thanks for the Karma, but credit where credits due, I got this from another user on BE in another thread.

Me too. Pretty reliable, some buffering but overall very good. Course it also depends on your home speed. Youtube buffers for me at work AND home!

I know it says 'Try FreeVPN today', but there is nothing specifically asking you to pay, unless you want one of the paid servers.
