Re: UK TV IN FLORIDA
Hi , I am looking to move to florida, and was wondering if i could have some advise, i am asking you . due to the fact that you are welsh.
I have welsh family, and i trust the welsh.
How long have you been away there ? Is it hard to settle in & live there ?

It can be very hard to settle for some. Many struggle with the practicalities (employment, taxation, cost of living in general). I was lucky in that I was transferred here with a good job and good pay and many of these things were either taken care of for me or not a problem.
I did struggle a lot with homesickness and culture shock in general. There's lots not to like about living in America, despite the general perception of Brits who want to move here.
The visa is the first hurdle though.

Re: UK TV IN FLORIDA
Live in Prestatyn and work in Colwyn Bay! Have house in Kissimmee and retiring in July. Will spend 2 x 3 months a year there. Is it possible to access BBC and ITV catch up TV on the Internet in Florida? Do you know if you can access UK online banking via Internet?
Can't wait to get out there!
Any suggestions re TV access for 6 months a year. I was thinking of a phone, broadband and TV package with Century Link.
Any suggestions regarding car insurance. I have not passed the Florida driving test.
Thanks in anticipation.
