what are the requirements in order to become a USRN?

This does come up a lot on here. People with experience will comment but definitely suggest you search the forum for very informative past posts.

There’s lots of info online about this. Immigration lawyer websites like this one (not an endorsement of this lawyer and no affiliation) can be a good source. Assuming your a English speaking/writing person, that hurdle will be easy. The bottom line is the path for RNs is much easier due to the shortage in the US.

Take a look at O’Grady Peyton. Will require some specialized training / experience on the UK side that typically isn’t had.

If your assumption is correct, you're probably correct about this too. :sneaky:

Yes, the question seems to come up several times a year, and do there are frequent threads, but I think there is one longer one that has most of the information in it.

I would say one thing though, that if you want to jump the pond you will maximize your chances if you are flexible on location, and restricting yourself to a few "dream states" may make the process harder and your chances lower. Once you have made the jump and got settled, and perhaps worked for whatever minimum period your sponsoring employer has specified, it is much easier to move between states.

Assuming one is an English speaking/writing person, one’s hurdle regarding that will be easy.
