UK Qualified Doctor Required in the USA
 

Hi, I need to have a medical but it is required to be carried out by a UK doctor (registered by the GMC). I live in South Carolina and would appreciate it if anyone knows of a UK/GMC doctor based in the US to save me traveling back to the UK for the medical.

I would be very surprised if anyone came along with a suggestion for this. Maintaining GMC registration requires working and ongoing continuous education in the UK. Still you never know...

Why would a medical in the US NEED to be carried out by a UK doctor registered with the GMC? What circumstance would require this to have to be carried out?

An employment offer from the UK would demand a medical and a medical that can only be performed by a UK doctor? If so, then the OP would need to go to the UK for the medical apparently or at the very least see if there is one in a UK held Caribbean Island.
