tried searching on the forum for UK passport through naturalisation.So looking for help

I am planning to apply for first time British passport in USA based on naturalisation certificate. Below are my questions

Countersignatory

Can i get my C1 form and photos signed by a british national currently living in UK who has known me for a number of years ??
or
do i need to find a british national who has known me for 2 years in a profession here to sign them

Supporting documents
original Naturalisation certificate
original valid UK Driving license with address on it


Can you please advise if the above is ok

Getting a UK passport issued abroad, doesn't need a UK citizen to sign for it, just someone of "good" standing that knows you, a teacher, doctor, banker etc.

UK license isn't valid though is it, as you aren't residing in the UK. Use a copy of your US license.

There aren't any trick questions, so use a copy of what they ask for.
