UK passport renewal times
Just a quick report 
We sent off for my daughter's new UK passport (renewal) exactly 2 weeks and 2 days ago. I just signed for it from the Fedex man. Not a bad turnaround!
Her US passport renewal was also fast, but we paid for that one to be expedited. That one took 2 weeks and 1 day.

Strange that, yet if we were to apply for a renewal of our passports in the UK bet the turn around time could be a lot longer
