I'm a UK citizen who lives in the US. My children were born here in the US and currently carry US passports. I plan on applying for UK passports.

Section 3 "Previous passport" in the C2 form asks if my child had any sort of passport - answer is YES, since they have US passports. Next question suggests that I attach it

Question: Do I need to send in their US passports with application or a photo copy will do?

The UK Embassy aren't interested in US PPs. It means previous UK PP.

I did my daughters recently (a month ago), and I did not send her USA Passport.

From dropping the application in the post to us having the passport was 2 weeks.

When I did Ds's he was 14 and I didn't attach his US passport but they did call me and ask me to photocopy the picture page of his US passport and fax it over to them.
