There is PP Live, which finds streams of stuff online from abroad which is good for sports, but again, often gets sluggish feeds and usually asian commentary.
There are ways to hack your IP, but apart from the proxy method, which is easy and legal, it all gets a bit complicated and errr...very dodgy...and unless your doing some serious naughties like robbing a bank or being a fiddler, there isn't much need into that kind of IP cloaking.

If 5 live is blocked check out the BBC local station - sometimes it seems like they forget to block their stream.
Also if its footie go on the message boards on bigsoccer.com - sometimes there will be streaming links posted up there.
Also uefa provides live streams for the champions league stuff for free.

Damn near had a heart attack when I saw that half an hour ago Milly, but I'm certain it's an April Fool and all will be back to normal soon.
I hope!!!!
Edit: I'm 100% sure now - the spokesperson's name is the same as the bartender in The Simpsons... (the EE Worldwide thing seems to be real though)
