UK guy to marry US bride

My future wife is in States, we want to marry and eventually end up in US. What is the is the simplest method if any. Is it easier to marry and return to UK as man and wife, marry in UK and then apply for US. Obviously I will need to find workin States will i be able to seek work if we return to or marry and stay in the States. Or will I have to wait for clearance?? Help please All we want is to be together

The simplest and quickest way to be together is to marry and settle in the UK. Details from the British Consulate website: http://www.britainusa.com - look under the section for settlement visas. It takes between 1 day (in person) and 2 weeks (by post) to get the visa once you have the marriage certificate.
When you decide to move to the US, you can apply for a spousal visa from the US consulate in London - this process takes about 3 months to accomplish when the US citizen spouse is resident in the UK.
If you want to move to the US straightaway, the process is more complicated.
