Neither of those are even close to proper Baked Beans.
A friend said she got some Heinz vegetarian beans that were the same as our Baked Beans.

the only thing I've got packed for my Xmas trip over so far is 4kg of Heinz Baked Beans and 2 boxes of Jelly Babies,.

I found Cadburys Choccy for $1 a bar at Big Lots although they do carry some biscuits and the like that some Intern thinks Brits buy....Tetley avail at Walmart and some Dierbergs in MO....
The online stuff is just too pricey so I am bribed with uber expensive Lucozade when the boss wants a favour...and this works as I am a shallow Yorkshireman.

Fresh and Easy have expanded their range of British candy. They now have Bounty, Aero Orange and Maltesers.

We live near a military base, and the PX on base sells all sorts of goodies. We had a friend go there recently and buy Oxo cubes, gravy granules, flake bars and all sorts of other things for my husband so he could cook properly.

I found some Walkers Strathespy rich fruit cake and a Walkers Glenfiddich Christmas pud in our local supermarket yesterday. Cost me the bargain price of $20 for the cake and $10 for the pud! Hubs had better be nice to me now.

I went to an Irish pub at Capitola Beach, Santa Cruz a few weeks ago and had amazing bangers and mash. Anyone know where i can get them from (am in the Bay Area, CA) as that's the one thing i really crave!

My parents have just come come over and have brought with them baked beans and Fruit 'n Nut chocolate and a couple of bottles of Robinson's Orange & Barley Squash (which I also recently found here at Leonardis - but not the "no added sugar" one).

Powell's Sweet Shop has a great selection of British chocolate (made in the UK) and sweets

Can't help with the sausages, that's the big thing I miss too. Fresh and Easy sell Robinson's squash at a good price though.

Someone may have already mentioned this but Heinz do a Baked Beans with No Meat in a tomato sauce (not sure why/how that's different to their normal Baked Beans) and it's the same price as any other can on the shelf and it is pretty similar to the real thing (can't bring myself to spend $3+ on a can) but not as good - why can't they just market the British one to the American consumers?!

I love looking at the "British" section in supermarkets - in Safeway they have some British crackers - a brand I've never heard of! Where are Jacobs crackers when you need them!

The vegetarian baked beans in the green can? It's different to the regular stuff in that regular beans here are cooked with pork fat.
