For anyone in SF, Hazel's Kitchen on Potrero Hill has a selection of different chocolate bars from the mother country to go with their bitchin' sandwiches.

The newly opened (and opening) Fresh Market stores in Houston have "Irish Banger" sausages. We saw them at the Weslayan location yesterday but didn't get any yet because we are adopting my husband's sound policy of buying flesh foods freshly the same day we intend to cook them. Since my husband is from Northern Ireland, he is also a bit skeptical about the chances of their being spot-on authentic. Fortunately as a newly hired meat counter person in the Tanglewood shop that is opening next week, he may be in a position to tweak the recipe a bit We already have visions of lobbying for British-style bacon... I may also get in trouble for telling our frugal secrets (heh), but some days they mince the small amount of lamb left over from cutting chops and such, and will have this little bit in the case near the other fresh lamb for a reduced price compared to the other lamb. We're going to make a real, proper Shepherd's Pie for friends this weekend, yay.

Hannafords, down around here were clearing out Brit goods, so HP, Robinsons, Bisto, Cadburys hot choc were all a couple bucks and chocolates were cheap too.

Houstonians: I did a search and didn't find this one in the thread yet!
The Fiesta on Westheimer at Dairy Ashford has a frozen section (it's the one on the right hand side of the store near the back, in the case facing the back wall) with imported British and Texas-made British-style foods such as pork pies and real bacon. I wish I had thought to make a list of what they have but seems worth the trip, even if the bacon is so pricey it made my husband raise his eyebrows and declare that streaky bacon was good too :P

Not sure if this has been posted already, but if you're in MI Ackroyds is well worth a visit - its a Scottish bakery with pasties, sausage rolls, scones, and various English bits and pieces like Cadburys, Tetleys, Ribena, and lemon curd. It's tiny but well worth stopping by if you're in the area.
