A case of crunchies? You are safe with them - not keen at all but watch out for Sue - if it has chocolate on it, she's there! I'd lock your doors at night and during the day

Wegmans had a nine pack of Penguin bars for $5.

Heinz beans are on sale again for $2.

They also have flakes and Aero bars for $1.30

All Brit sweets at Wegmans were down to 99c - Flakes, Aeros, Wine Gums, Crunchies, etc, etc.

Also Ribina was down to $6 so a couple bucks off, not bad.

Fresh and Easy appear to be selling Robinsons Orange Barley Water for only 99c. Likely because they are discontinuing it as the lemon is the regular price. Didn't get a chance to get any from my local store in 4S Ranch as they were cleaned out before I got there.

That's a great price.

The Christmas Tree shop all over the place, had both lemon and orange flavours for a buck last summer, it was a mad scramble, one friend got 40 bottles of the stuff

So after some recommendations from people here, Mrs Nu and I took a drive down to UK Gourmet in Newtown today.

Nice sunny drive straight down I84 to exit 9 ... place was super easy to find.

We went there for bacon and sausages, both of which we found...

Bit pricey.. those sauages and bacon cost us almost 140 bucks!

Wait a minute.. that's not my hand... Flake thief!

Place was great and worth a visit.

im back to the US next week and frantically shopping for goodies to bring back for friends---hubby only wants cherry drops so thats easy - ive been to the £ shop today to get some cadbury's fingers and fudge bars (eaten one of them already!) and animal bars
ive an order off a friend for some double decker bars and my US ladies what lunch love curly wwhirlies(cant spell it!)
but what else to bring back????

Any suggestions? Ive noticed that theres quite a lot of brit choccies sold in stores -hmm maybe some digestive biccys would be good but they all broke last time i did that....
I notice M and S are doing jubilee bics in a carton and they are on sale at £4 instead of £6....
I try not to buy sweets or anything for me cos i have no control and eat the lot!!!

Oh ive just thought - M&S Percy Pigs would make good little pressies!!!

You do see Hobnobs

They had McVities Choc (and plain) Digestives there, but I can get those at the local store, so we didnt get any.

I liked the place. Friendly and a good choice of stuff. We will be going back again. Apparently we need more Flakes. A certain USC keeps eating them all. Also the supply of chocolate Frogs is suspiciously low this morning.

SultanofSwing wont talk to me now cos i got english bacon instead of irish. (both were in stock so thats something else to go back for)

Wegmans have a Welsh cheddar cheese called Collier's, it is rather yummy and tastes like proper cheddar.

Not badly priced either
