Not a specifically British food, but can anyone suggest a GOOD decaffeinated tea?
In the UK I drank either Typhoo or PG decaff, but I cant find them here and the walmart decafs are tasteless, they are absolute ditchwater.

Getting a supply mailed at Christmas is great, but I could really do with a more reliable local source, either online or 'real' shopping will do.
(Currently based in Seattle WA but likely moving to either Chicagoland or Philly later this year.)

Thank you, and a belated Happy New Year!

Amazon have them, but a bit pricey unless you get them in large numbers and not nearly as good value as the regular PG tips.

I go for PG Tips decaf. They're a little on the pricey side, but I can get them locally in both Publix and Sweetbay... of course, it's works out a lot cheaper if my Mum stuffs 80 teabags in a padded envelope, and sends them over to me.

Went into San Francisco today, called in a little neighborhood for a coffee and stumbled across a small Irish bakery. Bought hot sausage rolls to eat there and then, and some raisin scones which we ate tonight. Both were fantastic, we also bought a pork pie which is waiting in the fridge for tomorrow. So hope it's good, I love pork pies and often crave them.

Just had a very classy lunch of pork pie and pickled onions. Absolutely bloody lush

I tried something different today.

A week ago, Sheila and I returned from a trip to Ft. Lauderdale. We went to a British shop near there and I bought a Christmas pudding. I had some custard at home so today, I made a custard sauce for the pudding.

Note to self: Sheila apparently likes neither Christmas pudding nor custard, and even a small pudding is just way too much for me! Ah well...

Some bigger stores sell Robinsons, if you are moving somewhere where there is a Fresh and Easy they sell it for $3.99 a bottle. Amazon also often has offers on it.

That stuff is full of sugar though, you might as well give your kid a can of soda.
