Shakespeare's has a great selection. We picked up both black and white pudding, a whole case of Heinz Baked Beans (for $1.35 a tin) and a couple of Curly Wurlys (although these last were smaller than I remember). Finishing off your shopping day you can pop to the pub next door for a pint and a Ploughmans.
Stater Bros carry a small selection of English food. Also the English shop in Solana Beach on Via De La Valle and one in Carlsbad Village just round the corner from what was Tom Giblins.

I've just been to one of the sales they have at a local British import warehouse, I was trying to explain to some Americans what lemon barley water is, quite amusing.

They had malt loaf today

Mountain View. I don't like Nob Hill, whenever I have bought fruit/veg from there it has been moldy the following day

You know its owned by the RALEYS chain of foods and they pride themselves on being fresh, but for some reason that Nob Hill is nasty.
