One thing I've learned to dislike about Costco is the extreme difficulty in finding out what a specific store STOCKS. I had it with that really nice Stilton they do round Xmas. I had to chat with an operator, look up the BE chat which showed the product code and THEN after about 25 minutes finally found out my local store...didn't have it. They couldn't identify it by callied it "Stilton" either ! What gives ? Everything there is computer controlled/

You can typically ask the checkout supervisor who can usually tell you when they'll receive more stock and which stores in the local area may have it or will get it soon. I asked about Spindrift canned carbonated flavored water a while ago, and was told that a store a few miles away had just received a big delivery of Spindrift.

If I'm in the store, I would, or ask at the help desk, but why not do what nearly everyother chain can do and tell you were the stuff is online ?

Especially when it is 90 miles each way to go to our "local" store.

anyone had the ‘fish and chips’ from here?

I miss British chips more than anything but I also find it hard to believe warmed up chips would taste any good.

You're right. Fresh is much better. Lizzyq found a great, if rather messy batter recipe.

Does anyone know a good place to buy PG tips teabags? I bought some online recently from Amazon, it arrived last week, but the expiry date is October 2020, and I want to buy from somewhere that provides a fresher product which won't expire before I finish it. Thanks in advance.

My local supermarket sells them, along with Marmite, Branston pickle, HP sauce, Heinz salad cream, Digestives, Hob Nobs, Turkish Delight and more, although it might help to mention which state you are looking in. The supermarket in question is Publix, but they are only in the South Eastern US.
