What do you mean by a crumpet? Most stores sell these:
http://www.thomasbagels.com/products

But a crumpet may be something different to you

Amazon sell 'em too if you are desperate, but they are pricey.

That's what those Thomas's English Muffins are. Not tried the Trader Joe's ones but I've heard good things about them.

I get crumpets at Publix, they're in the frozen section though rather than by the breads, though you might have to check several Publix as I've only found one that sells them out of the 4 I've been to around here.

No, Thomas's English Muffins are a completely different animal.

These are crumpets, not muffins.

+2. The only thing that a muffin has in common with a crumpet is the shape. A muffin is very obviously, when you split it open, a bread product. A crumpet, aka a "pikelet", is, as Guindalf said, completely different, it is full of holes, like a slice of sponge, and is eaten in one piece, not split open.

its worth noting that crumpets are quite easy to make, they taste more 'crumpety' than the store bought one, I substitute a crumpet ring with a folded strap of foil.

Fixed.

Mrs. N. has made some with some success though. Tasty.

Not used a tuna can type of can, with both ends opened?

The little fruit cans are a bit less smelly

Ocean State were selling Barry's Tea for a couple bucks a box which is a decent deal. Still have the Typhoo for cheap as well as Golden Syrup.
