I had a disappointment with Uber at an airport yesterday. I watched the map with his car going past me without stopping and then said it was on its route. I could not make contact with the driver. I cancelled and was charged $6.30 but a quick email to uber and I was Immediately refunded. The fare was estimated at $30-32 but in the end I jumped in a normal taxi which cost me $80 plus tip!
Uber has its problems, but at that price difference , I can't afford to be choosy.
