So my husband would know what the hell I'm on about when I randomly say "I'm the only gay in the village" to amuse myself.
The Vicar of Dibley was on PBS the other day, it was nice to watch Dawn French after flicking through all the regular dross.

I'd like to see BBC America stop broadcasting altogether. There's enough shite on the domestic channels here already, without importing the bile that the BBC has been producing over the past few years.

So anyone liking the new Dr Who? Pretty stupid and cheesy, but i'm still getting them *l* and there's going to be another series...hmmm...
Wouldn't mind BBCA as much if they did more decent themes like the mystery mondays, but without the constant repeating the rest of the day...we don't see it often, only when we're at the in-laws, and everytime, it's the same ******* episodes of changing rooms and house invaders...wouldn't mind if they were at least new ones *l*

Alan Partridge is on Beeb America on Saturday's so I'm going to introduce Mr Sibsie to the delights of Norwich.
Sarah, Little Britain is on BBC America on Thursdays.
I do manage to keep up with most of the shows I like from home via Nova. Call me sad but last night's viewing was, Corrie, Easties, Emmerdale, Bad Girls and Footballers Wives.

Bring back Eastenders!
BBCA used to show it, but dropped it in favour of another re-run of "Home Front in the Garden" or whatever crap they show these days. I can honestly say I haven't watched BBCA in over 2 years, but to call it the BBC is really misleading IMHO.
I don't watch ee myself, but the wife used to like it. Still manages to get it via the web, but it's not the same.

And they are showing Green Wing on Thursday nights, which has Mark Heap from Big Train and while quirky is quite funny.

I would like to see things like Parkinson, the full show, not just cut into one interview portions like BBC America tend to broadcast them. Richard and Judy, Cutting It, Nevermind the Buzzcocks, the beeb adaptations like North and South etc.

Green Wing is very funny, Series one of Shameless was on recently and is well worth trying to see. They do seem to be getting a bit better with new comedy but there are still far too many repeats.

Re: TV Shows you want
I wish they'd get round to showing series 2 of This Life too. I have series one on DVD but series 2 was never released. I can't think of anything more annoying than that, so when BBCA show it (if they ever do) I'll be recording it.

Re: TV Shows you want
If BBCAmerica is determined to show repeats then why not show more classics like-:
The Rise And Fall Of Reginald Perrin
Steproe And Son
Porridge
Rab C Nesbitt
Citizen Smith
The New Statesman
