Wellll.... OH says that they don't touch the "junk" itself but go very near it.

If I set off the metal detector in Canada, I get wanded down with a very fine wand... sometimes with two inspectors, one per side, but I've never had them shove the wand directly toward my "bits."

The key thing about the so-called "enhanced pat-down" is that it's nothing to do with finding contraband. It's deliberately designed to be humiliating and unpleasant in order to coerce people into using the porno-scanners.

It's that aspect of it, supposed public servants intentionally setting out to sexually humiliate the travelling public as a means of coercion, that has got folks so riled up.

Here's a great example of the TSA at work.

This is quite long, so a quick summary. A pregnant woman attempts to get some breast milk screen using the alternative method for medical liquids rather than the X-ray machine. She is then forced to wait for over an hour and subsequently is threatened with arrest and misses her flight. This is all because the TSA chimps don't know their own rules.

Reading the messages in the video, it seems that the baby is at home waiting for the breast milk.

I really shouldn't but...

At least, with these new procedures, we're finally getting the Grope and Change we were promised.

I wonder what happens when they encounter a woman wearing a menstrual pad.

Here's the latest.

Those gloves the "professionals" wear? They're not for your protection, they're for the TSA agent's protection.

They seldom change them. And some people have been frisked inside their underwear, for example that ABCNews reporter who was patted directly on the vagina.

So what happens when they touch someone with an active case of herpes? And then they touch you?

Or they touch some bacterial infection from a fold of skin from a land whale?

It's grosser than gross.

In an unrelated incident, a TSA agent was just arrested for kidnapping and raping a woman.

There are two aspects to all this:

The person trying it

The device itself

You need to focus on both, one here is completely ignored.

None of this is rocket science, it is well known, understood and practiced elsewhere.

But not in the US.

The blower/sniffers work. Dogs work. But because muslims don't like dogs, we bow to political correctness and don't use them. The Japanese use them. Dogs. Not muslims.

Some federal officials now are exempted from the new screening procedures:

I guess they don't like them either. Nice to have power..

I'll let you know. All this talk of degradation and body cavity searches has piqued my interest. I may have to start flying more.
