Default Travelling back to the UK

Hello

I came over on a K-1 and am in the process of AOS applications. We are married and have a baby daughter Chloe and I am taking her back to the UK (as soon as my advance parole papers come!). She has a US birth cert, I have a UK passport. I will have a letter from my wife saying I can travel abroad with Chloe, I'll take our marriage cert and her birth cert too. Does anyone know if I'll need to take anything else to stop any problems. I don't want to be stuck in an airport with a screaming 3 month old!

According to this lot

the baby will need its own passport unless he/she is already on your still valid passport.

Pretty sure you'll need a passport for Chloe as well. And if you do have that, you won't need any of the birth/wedding certs. But you will need the letter - I was queried coming back IN to the US as to why I hadn't got a letter authorising me to be out of the country with my son but not my wife. It took quite a while to get thru to the immigration officer that we had travelled out of the US as a family, but come back seperately....he allowed us in, pretty grudgingly, but told us to make sure that we had a letter next time. I think he also said it had to be notarised, but don't take that as gospel.

Other things needed - lots of nappies, bottles, changes of clothes (for you!) sense of humour, patience....

Thanks. Happily she is a good girl so won't be too much trouble. My wife thinks I'm going to feign difficulty and will be using her as a stewardess magnet! No trust these days!
