Know what you mean - its so big, and the air was so clear when we were there that it doesn't look real. Plus I'd seen so many documentaries, books, post cards etc on it that it wasn't really a surprise. Some of the smaller, less well known (at least to me) parks have more jaw-dropping potential. GC is still worth a visit if you've never been though....
