Default Travel to the USA.

Hi All
If I apply for my visa through my wife being a USC, can I still travel to the USA for a holiday while my application is being processed?

Yes. If your wife is based in the US, you may want to expect extra questioning at the POE potentially, but you are still eligible for the VWP, unless you've made yourself ineligible some other way.

My wife is based in the UK, dual nationality, does that make a difference?

Shouldn't really. The only reason I mentioned her being in the US, is that it makes it look more likely that you would have longer term intentions other than a holiday.

Just make sure you have evidence of current ties to the UK, and be honest but succinct if questioned.
