Default Travel Insurance

Hello, my elderly parents want to visit from the UK but they are having trouble finding travel insurance that will cover them. They have a few medical conditions but nothing serious, just age seems to be the problem. Has anyone used any companies that they would recommend? Thanks Sue

Hi Sue! Check out globelink, they specialise in travel insurance for elderly people. You can also check this link for other UK insurers - http://www.globespots.com/travelinsurance_uk.php
Hope this was helpful

Also look at SAGA. As they specialize it taking the more elderly on holidays they sell insurance to. It is expensive but the cover is good, and they will discuss the preexisting conditions and unless it is something really serious explicitly give you cover for them.

How old? My old dear has used Tesco, Barclays and the post office in the past. Can't remember which she used last time but she was 72/73 when she got it last year.

Does their bank offer travel insurance? I only ask as my parents-in-law have found the best deal they could get was through their bank as they had been customers for years.
