I'm marrying a british citizen who has overstayed her visa and must travel after we get married. What is the fastest way to get her travel documents?

Depends on a few things: How long did she overstay? What local INS office are you
filing at? If the overstay is more than 180 days - then she cannot use Advance Parole
(travel authorization) Even if the INS were to issue one to her, leaving the country
would trigger a 3 or 10 year ban from reentering the US. She will have to remain in
the US until she receives her Permanent Residence Status to be able to travel out of
the US and return. If her overstay was less than 180 days, then depends on the
timeline of your local INS office. This website shows timelines for local offices.
Remember you can only file your I-130/I-485/I-131 (and I-765 if she wishes to work)
at the local office that serves your residence.
