Translating my qualifications
I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times before, but is there any guide on how to translate my UK qualifications into a format that works in the US?
I've got a HND in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic Engineering with Data comms as well. An OND in the same...
Experience wise, I spent 9 years working for the MOD mainly as a communications engineer and have been working as a commissioning engineer/1st line support for the last 3 years.
Any help would great

Bit pointless without context tbh.
There are plenty of places such as WES that'll translate your qualifications, but it's a waste of money and time if you haven't been asked to do it for a potential job, because if they want it done from another service, you've just wasted your money.
It's pretty much unregulated anyway, so no point doing it till you're asked.

Re: Translating my qualifications
Well I've applying for jobs over there, everything from sales engineer to working for AT&T, and just wondered if it would be better to already list what the US equiv is.
At the moment I'm using all the skills that I've listed in the HND

You indicate elsewhere that you're not living in the US and you're not employment authorized.. are you applying for jobs that could actually get you to the US?

I'm applying with larger companies, mainly ones that I've found have applied for H1B visas with success. I'm over there in a couple of months, so will take the opportunity to visit them in person
