Apart from TWise....who else has used what service and been happy with the results?

Thanks

Re: Transferwise and who else???

Used several over the years but for the past 2/3 years used TWise exclusively. It is hard, if not impossible to find, another company who achieves more dollars per transfer than they do. One of the few things TWise doesn't do is forward contracts.

Re: Transferwise and who else???

yep I've been very happy with TWise...except yesterday I went to do a transfer and now they want a photo of Driver License front and back uploading to their site.So more PII out on the world wide web. I get why they want to be as sure as possible on who's who and I would imagine that governments are also requiring them to tighten up. I think I might just use my bank and eat the cost unless there is another option. The TWise support are very busy but as and when I can through to them I'll try and see if this new requirement is a one off or if they want PII uploading every time you use their service.

Thanks

KYC for AML is pretty normal. It maybe that you have also hit a higher transaction limit / threshold:

I've used MoneyCorp, World First and another whose name I've forgotten, and they all required ID when opening an account.

World First are no longer carrying out private account transactions.
