Transferwise fees
Just noticed that from June 19th, they significantly raised their fees from exchanging Sterling to Dollars............anyone been following this and noticed others do the same?

Re: Transferwise fees
I just checked the fee for my normally monthly exchange and it is lower than it was up until a couple of months ago when they lowered their fees. The fee quoted just now is the same as the new lower fee.

My mother is still not great with the WWW, and the fees banks charge are far worse, trust me!

You are correct, although I didn't know about it until I logged in to my account: https://transferwise.com/price-chang...SD&amount=1000

And still infinitely cheaper than bank-handled wires.

Re: Transferwise fees
Still a brilliant service and one of the cheapest easiest services out there especially for larger amounts. 47 pence increase per 1000 is not what I call significant tbh.
I've been using them for years and still haven't found a better service.
I love the way you can have the borderless accounts in USD and GBP. exchange to USD in smaller chunks while the GBP rises (considering its current volatility) and then transfer all together when needed.
