Default Re: Transferwise - boarderless bank a/c

Transferwise question. I have successfully set up an account and been paid into it by my UK organization that has incautiously contracted me to do some work. Success. They paid into an account in pounds, I also set up one in dollars. I have successfully transferred some money to my son's bank account in the UK and am no longer a Transferwise virgin.

When transferring to my bank account in the US, should I transfer from the TW pounds account to my bank account, or move the money to my TW dollar account first, or doesn't it make a bit of difference? Sorry for probable stupid question.
