Hello,

I am an Australian citizen living in Australia and would like to visit the USA for the purpose of sightseeing and also visiting friends. This will be my first visit to the USA and I intend to travel under the visa waiver program. I am aware the maximum period of stay is 90 days, and right now I am planning on a 2 week trip. However, it's possible I might want to stay an extra week or two.

My main question is, when I enter the country, will they place a 2 week limit if I state my visit is for 2 weeks?

Also, regarding evidence of funds...what form should this take? I was planning on taking a small amount of cash and relying on my credit cards for the bulk of the trip.
