I understand using a truck for its designated purpose. So F-150s loaded with equipment, tools, etc makes perfect sense. I'm talking about the 20 something urban punks you see cruising around with waxed shining F-350s and a completely bare trunk. It's machismo.

There's no practical reason some white collar guy needs a gas-guzzling vehicle other than to compensation for his shrivelled, impotent doolally.

Currently in TX, and I don't drive a truck. You see these things everywhere, with none so much as a rusty nail in the truck's bed.

I had a Honda Civic in England & that car was probably the best one out of the lot, it never broke down, was fuel efficient, they hold their value well, sporty looking & it was really nippy too. I would buy one again & probably will when I return to England.

Right now I have an Infiniti, but I'm not please with it. I've also been down the 1999 Honda Civic route (great little runner) and a 2002 Ford Focus. Still searching for the pefect car. Civic is winning so far.

I have one of the Toyota hybrids, like you say, can't beat the fuel economy.

I don't see the point. I don't see why a city guy needs to drive some great horsepower-dripping machine to drive to the office and back. I don't have cock worries like some white collar yanks.

I have a truck, I bought it to make up for my lack in the penis area, as I don't have one!!!

Not necessarily.
