The blue is the same color as our Focus, but I'm guessing a little bit faster.

There is a Lotus dealership here in North Scottsdale. I see the odd Lotus Elise.

Just checked the digital TV guide and lo and behold Top Gear is on next Wednesday on the Discovery Channel. My brother is coming out for 5 weeks from Egypt; he loves Top Gear so that'll keep him happy.

Brilliant what you can find out from this site - I'd otherwise probably have found out about this after they air the last episode....

Well no, he hasn't driven one yet - we plan to go this weekend for a test drive

He already knows he wants the racing green - and it'll have to be a hard top here in MA!

It'll be a third car, but needs to take him to work (20 mins each way, maybe less in one of those

MA roads.... hmmm. Make sure your health insurance plan has good chiropractic coverage!

make sure that when you take one for a drive you take it for a good five mins straight on a route he uses for work to get a good indication of how the daily commute will work out.

I think the elise is an awesome car, but as someone big into motorsport and cars, an elise would only work in the following circumstances:

1. Family car - SUV/Big sedan
2. Sports car/convertible for scooting around in
3. lotus elise for weekend autocross/track days when not raining/snowing/icing

unless you or your husband have an issue with german cars then take the new boxster out for a drive the same day and compare the two.

Hmmm German cars... Have to hand it to them Krauts! They make very fine cars.

Great to see the show - but wierd as its is a mix of articles from early (first?) series - but the guys in the studio was re-taped for the US show - they talked about car size specifically for the US audience and explained the stig etc. Now I know for certain that those features were not all on the same show at home - but they were wearing the same clothes all the way through in the studio so it must have been re-shot rather than cut together! Wouldn't have thought it was worth the hassle!!

Yeah noticed that, even talked about going to commercials!!! Maybe they'd signed up with Discovery beforehand, still it was good to see it and I'll keep on watching....

Too right about the wrong side of the road, it scared me that i now thought the UK was the wrong way around.

Seriously though Top Gear was my fave program for years (even when jeremy went awol), but i am so happy to be able to see it.

Thanks to this forum, otherwise i would have missed it. Tivo will make sure that doesn't happen now.

Think it was on quite recently as on the Audi forum, am sure they were discussing the trip to Monte Carlo just the other week.

Ah well.
