It's probably a pointless quest.

British Isles store has it in the freezer. There's never a price on it - they just weigh it at the counter and they trade you pound for pound in your own bodyweight!

It's sometimes in the freezer at fiesta as well.
Scotch egg done. May have to eat salad for a while before I move onto the next sampler.

I know, I could murder a loaf of Warburton's Toastie.

Best toast bread I've come across here is Heiners 35.

Best one I've found is Albertson's french loaf. Exceptionally good bread, even by European standards.

Fish, chips and mushy peas done. Mr Weeze had chip shop curry sauce. Black pudding done. Walnut whip done. In all honesty starting to crave salad now.

Kids wanted ravioli for dinner tonight, and I'm not a fan, so I bought myself one of those chefs salad things from HEB - do the right thing, get back in me speedos(), that sort of idea.

And then I saw this post about mushy peas ..............

And so I am now defrosting one of my emergency pork pies to have with mushy peas and pickles and brown bread with lots of butter.....

So, Weeze, when you read on chron.com about a tourist being mistaken for a stranded whale on Galveston beach your immediate thought should be "oops, my bad..."

But that pork pie is starting to smell really good!!

Ah, I'm assuming you were never a Boy Scout if you missed something so basic in your emergency kit !!

We only did Canoeing, Camping etc. We missed out on a lot of survival basics apparently. Pity... a Pie badge would have rocked.

Survival Basics - what are you talking about man?
Lets imagine you're stuck halfway up a mountain in a snowstorm with 2 broken legs, and you haven't eaten for 3 days. Which would you rather have - a spare woggle and the full words to Ging Gang Gooley written on the back of a silk hankie in invisible ink, or a pork pie ?
