Does anyone know if there is a minimum amount of time that needs to be remaining on your UK passport when re-entering the US? The Mrs and I will be going back to the UK in July for a fortnight and when we return she will have 2 1/2 months before her passport expires. We are both GC holders.

Thought I read somewhere that about 3mths was acceptable for traveling depending on the amount of holiday you intend taking...

There is no minimum time...I entered with a couple of days left on my PP.

Thanks Jerseygirl. I was reading on another thread about the delays getting a new PP here in the states and we were thinking it would be just our luck to get refused entry without having a min time remaining.

The US requires visitors from some countries to have a certain length of time on their PP.

It doesn't apply to you...you live here. So you and your wife are good to go.
