For those of you who organised your own health care

We move to the US in 2 weeks. I rang the Healthcare Marketplace to organise our health insurance and was told in order to qualify for the Special Enrollment Period we will need a letter from our current health care provider that we are no longer eligible for our current coverage.

As the current provider is the NHS, what sort of letter do we need to get?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

The person advising you is slightly confused - you need something that shows you have current coverage (pre-arrival in the US), so something from the NHS, and that linked to immigration to the US is sufficient. .... The person advising you obviously isn't too familiar with dealing with immigrants.
