14. Two weeks after Jeb Bush spent so much time and effort to stop a brain dead woman from dying he passed a law legalising murdering someone with a gun if you feel threatened

Something else that disturbs me, at the ParaOlympics do they still just have the two handicapped parking places at the front?

That works out well, you can use the $250 to buy a plane ticket home and skip out without paying your rent. Talk about excellent timing

It's illegal to drink and drive, yet you can buy beer at the gas station.

Cheese Whizz - that's scary

Aside from that what disturbs me is the everyday occurance of stupid points deaths on the road. My local paper, in a county with only a few tens of thousand of residents, seems to run the exact self-same story at least twice a week: "... the car left the road to the right, the driver over corrected and the car spun out of control into on-coming traffic". Some variations of the story have the car hitting a tree or utility pole (on one or other side of the road), or just drifting directly into on-coming traffic. Occasionally the driver of a Geo or a Civic, or simliar, pulls out of a side road in front of a truck - pick-up or 18 wheeler, the results are generally the same.

What I really want to know though is, no matter how little driver education you had, nor how easy the road test is, WHY CAN'T YOU KEEP YOUR CAR BETWEEN THE CENTER LINE AND A THE FRICKIN' VERGE?

I wondered if my grandson would be done.... because his father is not.....babys mother did not have little one done in the end.....he is part Jewish so I had expected it in a way........i

Velveeta - Blocks of Processed cheese which you microwave into goopy recipes;

http://www.kraftfoods.com/velveeta/m...brand=velveeta

Who eats this stuff?!?!

Then when you have ingested so much Velveeta and other processed and fatty food, you can buy some Metamucil fibre supplement so you can take a shit!

http://www.metamucil.com/

How about eating some fruit and cutting the Velveeta down to 2 pounds a week???

You can buy a gun at Walmart, but you can't buy a bottle of Scotch.
It'd be better if they had liquor on the shelves and guns in specialised stores (like they have the liquor now - in Oklahoma anyway).

But more serious than that is- How the heck did GW Bush get back in power when everybody seems to hate his guts??

There are plenty of things that disturb me here. But then there were plenty of things that disturbed me back home in the UK.

I just do what I did there, and avoid these things.

Although American kids have to be my biggest issue. They are rude, obnoxious, hyper, arrogant and full of wanton destruction. They have no respect for material things and are spoiled by their parents.

Not all kids mind, but the ones I have met are the spawn of satan.

Sometimes, it's hard to avoid them.

Now I find the kids here fine......its one of the things I like about the States.....or where I live anyway......
My sons best friend comes from a very rich family...but he works in Burger King....drives an old banger.....and only asks for something from his family if it for his friends......all the boys come round to do odd jobs.....and I've had no trouble taking in homeless teenager off the streets......because they have all respected my home and what I do for them.......

it disturbs me that the president still says NUCULAR when his wife and everyone else in the country have told him its wrong
Oh and that he can make jokes about WMDs when nearly 2000 US soldiers have died and 5-7000 have been maimed (not to mention innocent iraqis)
